One of the most important things is introducing a sense of unpredictability in the game with the help of the Random Number Generator (RNG) game mechanic. A meteor shower can occur from less than one hour up to more than six hours, according to several sources.

Meteorites despawn 14000 seconds after falling, or 3 hours, 53 minutes, 20 seconds.

Meteors can appear anywhere in the sky, and the more sky you see, the better your chance is to spot one. Each shower has a radiant, or a point in the sky where the meteors appear to originate. Knowing where the radiant is can be helpful, though the longer streaks will be visible farther away from the radiant.

If its a single player game, you have to wait around in the appropriate area (the north west snowy corner of the map, or around the center of the island for Siptah) for a meteor show to hit. There is a chance for one every 30 minutes, and if one doesn't happen the next one will me more likely to happen.

A group can build different structures yet with a 7 day decay timer most times you need to run through all of them just to make sure next time you come they won't be just dust and floating thralls. Good chance that meteor have spawned at this point. Check around when you get back to the game to see if Meteors have fallen anywhere where they usually fall.

Many Perseids are bright, so if the moon is up, try blocking it out to enhance your viewing. This shower rises to a peak gradually, then falls off rapidly. And Perseid meteors tend to strengthen in number as late night deepens into the wee hours before dawn. The shower is often best just before dawn.

Plan your trip such that you give yourself about 15-30 minutes to set up and let your eyes adjust to the dark. Dress for the weather. Meteor watching, like stargazing, can be a waiting game, so bring anything that will make your wait comfortable—blankets, reclining chairs, pillows, and warm beverages. Enjoy the show!
