Who are we looking for?

We are looking for TWO Research Officers who will work closely with project team members, partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

Project Description:

DHARANI (Dental Health Access Research and Integration into Primary health care in Karnataka) is a research project funded by ICMR (Indian council of medical research) in Chamarajanagar, Mysore. This implementation research project focuses on studying dental health access and developing a successful integration model to deliver oral health into primary healthcare.

Essential requirements

  • A recognised health professional degree (MBBS/BAMS/BHMS or equivalent) preferably BDS along with MPH (master of public health) from accredited Institution.
  • 3+ years experience in the public health system, data collection, data analysis, interpretation,conducting in-depth interviews, focus group discussion, transcription and coding,
  • You must be below 35 years to apply for this position.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team experience of liaising with stakeholders.
  • Willingness to relocate to Chamarajanagar/ Mysore district and extensive travel to the field sites is anticipated
  • Working knowledge of analytical softwares SPSS/ R/ Nvivo.
  • Ability to contribute to research writing and blog writing

Desirable requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Speaking and writing of kannada language
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, field conditions, and unexpected challenges.

Job location

  • IPH Bengaluru Field office in Mysore and Chamarajanagar (location will be updated shortly)
  • Willingness to relocate in Chamarajanagar/ Mysore district and extensive travel to the field sites is anticipated under the project

Duration

The contract will be for one year (with a probation period of 3 months) to begin with and there will be possibility for renewal based on the performance and funding resources.

Job description

The candidate will need to:

  • Coordinate and conduct research activities, including data collection, surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions.
  • Analyze research data using appropriate statistical methods and software.
  • Prepare research reports, manuscripts, and presentations for dissemination to scientific communities, policymakers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders primary health centers,dental colleges, and various stakeholders to ensure research objectives are met effectively and efficiently.
  • Facilitating scientific writing and publications
  • Development of various research tools, checklists for the project.
  • Any other responsibility assigned by the supervisor.

  • Collaborate with project team members, partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives.
  • Any other responsibility assigned by the supervisor.

We are looking for the position of a Human Resource Manager who will work closely with the administration team and coordinate all aspects of human resources practices and processes of the Institute.

Essential requirements

  • Candidates should have a post-graduate graduate degree in human resource management.
  • Candidates should be comfortable with the use of all basic computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Excellent (written and oral) communication skills in English and Kannada
  • Experience in networking, coordination, and liaisoning with the diverse workforce of the institute
